Reflections

The fire is set and each of us have the opportunity to add to it or starve it. My desire as a youth pastor is to see each one continue to grow in their relationship with God. I want to stoke the fire. The purpose of “Reflections” is two-fold. Mom and Dad, I want each of you to know what has most recently been taught during Crosstrainers and Sr. High Sundays and to have questions that can help continue the conversation at home. For teens, may these reflections help your further mediate on what we are working through together. Continue in the things that you have learned! (2 Timothy 3:14-17)

New Chapter

suncloudsIt’s hard to believe that this day has come. An exciting time!

Throughout the years, the Lord has continued to burden my heart for teens. In the past year that has become more focused on desiring to be part of local church ministry. The idea of investing daily to help teens grow in their relationship with God excites me!

So, in the Lord’s clear leading and timing I have accepted a Youth Pastor position in Bloomington, IL. Marcie, Colton and I are looking forward to this new chapter in our lives and we look forward to serving the people at EWO.

Leaving the Wilds of New England was not an easy decision and I have given much of my energies to this ministry over the past 6 years. I have loved the interactions and opportunities to invest in the lives of families and churches all across the New England area. I look forward to seeing how the Lord will continue to do great things with TWNE in the future!
